Albufeira

The aerial shot of the Auramar Beach Resort says it best. Here is a beautifully positioned hotel in a stunning location on the Algarve headland looking out to sea. So no wonder the Auramar Beach Resort is such a popular choice for holidaymakers to the Algarve. Here is a hotel that gives you those unparalleled views, and the opportunity to make the most of the wonderful beach for which the Algarve is famous, but also puts you within easy reach of Albufeira and all its amenities.

Minutes to Albufeira; seconds to the beach - come to the Auramar Beach Resort:

As if there wasn't already enough to recommend it, the Auramar Beach Resort provides all-inclusive accommodation, making the stay as comfortable as the views are spectacular.

All the twin / double rooms are air-conditioned and come with private bathrooms and balcony. Rooms are kitted out with satellite TV (4 UK channels), fridge and a room safe. Irons and hairdryers are also available on request. Sea View rooms are available, you must book a superior room or pay locally for an upgrade if there is availability.

There is a whole world of entertainment waiting for you at the Auramar Beach Resort too. With two exceptional swimming pools, children's pools and a heated indoor pool, you can enjoy a variety of swimming experiences inside, outside and in the sea. With a sauna and relaxing massage service also available in-house you can ease away any lingering tiredness if you've swum a few too many lengths. There are plenty of activities to enjoy on dry land too: ranging from billiards to tennis, and featuring a mini golf tournament every summer.

For a quintessential Algarve holiday, try the Auramar Beach Resort. Close enough to Albufeira and all its amenities, but pleasantly secluded, the hotel is the perfect holiday spot. And you'll never forget those views!

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Lovely relaxing holiday

Review by Bloss123 Hereford, United Kingdom

Stayed for a week in June 2022. Had never been all inclusive before so didn’t really know what to expect. We arrived late evening around 10pm were greeted with a packed lunch (sandwich some fruit and a muffin) as we missed dinner...

We ate breakfast every day at the hotel, good choice, eggs, beans ect, pancakes, fruit, hams and cheese. We only eat lunch from the buffet on our last day (given lunch voucher as all inclusive band taken off at check out 12pm). The self service bar by the pool, offers salad, burgers, fruits and normally pizza daily from 11-6pm. Evening meal consisted of lots of salad, fish and meat options along with cakes and ice cream. Self service for beer, wine and soft drinks.

The room was spacious and like the pictures on booking.com. We had a sea view and couldn’t believe how quiet it was on the balcony for such a big hotel. Bathroom could maybe do with an upgrade to meet the rest of the hotels standards.

Only negatives we have are we couldn’t turn the aircon off in our room and as we had some cooler nights didn’t feel it was needed and could save electric. There were also quite a few sun beds that were broken and needed replacing.

Overall great relaxing holiday in a really nice location. 25 minute walk to the old town down the beach with lots of lovely restaurants which we visited a on a few evening.

Would stay again

Absolutely loved it!

The Hotel was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable...

The pools were very nice. There was a wide selection of food which was really nice. My partner is a fussy eater but he really enjoyed it. Can’t fault it one bit.

Pros and cons

Review by JamesG0907 Bicester, United Kingdom

Pros Stayed here as a group of 8 lads, location is close to the strip, drinks measures were good and pool setting is good. Also next to the beach so another bonus. Rooms have aircon

Cons Food was arguably below average and not varied...

If you’re looking for a party hotel would say elsewhere is better as we had a few noise complaints

Overall is good value for money

Clean, friendly hotel with lovely food

Lovely clean hotel, food was great with good choice, for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks We stayed all inclusive which was worth it more so if you had children, All staff were friendly and helpful, (Paula who works in the restaurant was lovely to meet you) 😁 There was x2 pools outside and one child’s splash pool and one indoor pool, We had to vacate the room at 10am on the last day which is pretty standard

Only downside was we arrived about 11.30am on day one and got told we could get lunch, dinner but on our last day our flights were not till the evening but when we returned our key we was able to get breakfast but not lunch and any drinks/snacks had to be paid for, I questioned this at reception who said because we ate lunch on the first day we was not allowed lunch on last day.. I think this should of been explained to us on the first day. Over all it was a lovely place to come and stay 👍

Good beachfront hotel with small niggles

Review by BarbarellasHairpin Selby, United Kingdom

We stayed AÍ for a week. I knew it was a no frills hotel and this didn’t bother me as I liked the location and the set up of it. It’s clearly an old hotel but the surroundings are lovely and the gardens were too...

There are two sittings for food and we were in the later one, which was ok for breakfast, but not great for dinner as you weren’t allowed to go until 8pm.

The food was a bit monotonous but there was generally enough for most people to find something they liked. The pool bar food was limited but did alter slightly over the week, so was ok for a snack.

Rooms were adequate but one niggle was the maids never seemed to take the drink glasses away so i had to put them in the wardrobe all week. Rooms were otherwise cleaned well.

The lobby bar couldn’t be used for “all inclusive” guests which was baffling.

Another annoyance was a great deal of the sunbeds were broken and you fell through them if you didn’t get one near the pool.

Otherwise the staff all seemed lovely and friendly. A lot of the customers were too.

If you’re used to 4-5 star AÍ givethis place a miss but if you don’t mind the no frills it’s great for anyone n a budget
