good hotel on the beach
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel sol e mar. Great location, right on the beach and walking distance to the town. Lots to do in the area but not too close to all the noise and crazy bars...
Customer service was okay and there is no parking if you have a car you have to find street parking.

6 night break 27/4 till 3/5/22 room/breakfast, positives: location 10/10 right on beach next to old town and restaurants, hotel 9/10 nice room clean and spacious, nice size bathroom shower good pressure plenty of hot water both modern looking plenty of wardrobe space,kettle,hairdryer,safe,fridge and tv small balcony but all sea facing beds comfortably, breakfast good,english,cereals, pastries,fruit,cheese and hams great to set you up for day also good times 7.30 to 10.30 for those who like a lie in, small indoor pool, beach towels for 10€ deposit, staff friendly and helpful .
Negatives: carpets abit course let's room down no soap dish in bathroom, only one medium bottle of water provide free,TV ok but only english news channels, no curtesy room provide for those with late flights to freshen up (used pool but not best very wet)
Tips: take own teabags and 3in1 coffee sachets.
Lovely location
Lovely hotel good breakfast great location. Only downside for us was the mattresses they are hard and when I say hard I could not wait for the morning. We did ask if they had toppers they had none but did put a quilt on the mattress didn’t really help. You have a small indoors pool but they really do need a outside pool the sea was to cold and when it’s hot it’s nice to have a pool to cool down in.

Amazing hotel and staff very helpful, rooms are beautifully decorated well designed for all your needs, what a view too from your balcony its a WOW factor Short walk to town hotel right on the beach, breakfast was all that you needed and fresh I would highly recommend this hotel A++++++
Good but could be better
We have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Sol E Mar Hotel. The hotel is in a fantastic location with every roo have a sea view. However you should be aware if you have mobility issues that the airport transfer couch could not get dir3ctly outside the reception, the walk is about 5 mins down hill going to the hotel but up hill when returning to the airport...
The rooms are lovely and have a fridge, kettle and tea/coffee aswell as a safe. Rooms were very clean but we stayed in rooms 415/416 and although these rooms have great views they are very noisy when the breakfast service starts at 7am till 10.30am so no good if you like a sleep in. I feel the hotel could resolve this issue by putting some felt pads under the table and chair legs in the breakfast restaurant on the floor above. The restaurant on the ground floor is very good with lovely views over the beach and the buffet breakfast was good.
