A nice break at Holiday inn Algarve
Very attentive and helpful staff at all departments, particularly the Reception Front Desk. The place was clean and offered a wide range of facilities. Excellent location by a fantastic beach, however, you need to bear in mind that the charge for sunbeds is rather steep (17 Euros for two beds and an umbrella) which can amount to a lot of money over your stay. Lovely hotel and we would stay there again.

Staff great and hotel clean and good facilities. Lovely to hear the ocean in good sized room. I know things have been difficult since the Pandemic, but I was disappointed by the restaurant...
I have had better meals in a 3 star hotel, not at all what I have enjoyed in other 4 star hotels; this is part of a big, well known chain and it’s name is being let down here. Very limited lunch and dinner menus, it’s sardine season and none have turned up here. I will never use all inclusive again as the times are too limited as are the available drinks. I drink very little and only expect local drinks, but very limited. Breakfast is reasonable. A lot of steps to the beach, but worth the effort down there, very near some good restaurants and things to do on the beach and sea trips to local caves interesting.

Cannot believe I omitted a review on the hotel room! So here it goes... Firstly, we had a sea view. Which was absolutely brilliant! We kept the balcony door open even at night and the sound of the sea was just fabulous. Balcony was small but very private and furnished with a table and two chairs. Bathroom was small but had an amazing shower, with choice of rain shower or hand held...
Ample shampoo, shower gel in large containers. There was also a bidet as well as toilet and hand basin. Plenty of wardrobe space and drawers for 2 people. Also there was a fridge, kettle (with tea and coffee supplied) as well as mugs and glasses. There was also an ironing board and iron, hairdryer, ample lighting and good amount of sockets too. And not forgetting a safe and A/C Two comfortable chairs were also supplied Room was cleaned every day and was pristine for our arrival. Finally, the beds. Absolute 100% comfort. I do not sleep well as a rule but had no trouble at all here! Definitely want to return!

Great hotel. Location perfect on the beach. Small,but adequate pool with bar selling food, drinks and ice creams, loos and showers...
Lot's of steps so would not suit those with mobility issues. Absolutely thoroughly clean all over the hotel. Stalff friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. Had b and b option. A very short and pleasant walk to an abundance of restaurants and snack bars, bars and ice cream outlets. The resort very clean and nice to wander round. All in all a lovely stay. We hope to return

From the moment we arrived at the hotel the staff were excellent and very welcoming. The hotel is situated in a fantastic location and has excellent facilities. The pool overlooks the beach and there is a private entrance to the beach from the hotel...
We stayed B&B and the breakfast was excellent every day. The rooms were clean and comfortable as you would expect from a Holiday Inn. The hotel staff were all really helpful and polite and the cost for everything we had was very reasonable. We had bar food at the swimming pool which was excellent and well priced.
