The hotel is like a rabbit warren. There are different blocks spread around the pool area and I thought some areas could be smarter. You can go up stairs to a level then down stairs to your room so if you take the lift you can still have stairs to climb...
Main bar and lounge area is very attractive with entertainment some nights. Breakfast was buffet but plenty of choice though it didn't change much, fresh produce. Located close to the prom. and about 400yards from the older part of town. Bus station is only a short stroll away. Would stay here again. Avoid the block on far side of the pool.
Got worried about past reviews on this hotel, but didn’t need to worry as the hotel functions perfectly well if you don’t expect five star quality for three star cost. We stayed in room 3101 in the main building which I would recommend - in fact any room 3101-3105 and 4101-4105 are all great as they are fully modernised and moments away from the main reception, pool and bar area. These are classed as ‘superior’ rooms (not classic or standard rooms) and cost a bit more but totally worth it...
My sister and I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Staff were very nice and helpful and were able to check us in a bit early. We used the outdoor pool which was quite refreshing though unheated (it was 30-32 degrees C)! Buffet breakfast was excellent — something for everyone and very tasty...
Our room required some steps to get there which was fine for us but less able people may need to request a room with minimal steps. The location was fabulous - east walk to marina and Old Town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
OK this hotel has a few issues, and by this I mean the hotel itself. The buildings are old, the decor is a little dated, and some halls are a bit smelly, and you can spot a cracked window here and there. The staff was very friendly and professional, the breakfast was awesome and the bed was very very confortable. I slept really well! We also checked the pool, that has a very nice area and a bar with food and drinks I thought were a little overpriced. All in all it was a nice experience and we would gladly come back...

Overall, wish we hadn’t spent the money and stayed somewhere cheaper!
