Costa Blanca

Think of the Costa Blanca and you might think of sun, sea and sand. You might not think of quiet oases of calm, or verdant green gardens… But the Prince Park Hotel is uniquely situated next to the Aiguera Park and near Benidorm's Old Town. Of course you're still wonderfully well placed to enjoy everything that Benidorm has to offer, including the exceptional beach, just a short walk away. But staying at the Prince Park Hotel can give you a different slant on your Costa Blanca holiday– a chance to relax and live it up. An opportunity to take things at any pace you like…

Next to the beautiful Aiguera Park, the Prince Park Hotel is a relaxing holiday haven:

The palm trees, the greenery, the calm… this could be almost anywhere on earth. But step out of the gardens and you're back in fabulous Benidorm. One moment serene, the next it's all about the excitement.

Staying at the Prince Park Hotel, you actually get to experience three sides of Benidorm – not just the quiet of the garden, or the rush of the city, but the traditional Benidorm too. The Prince Park Hotel is situated close by Benidorm's Old Town. You can spend many happy hours wandering the streets of the Old Town, slipping in and out of its many wonderful bars and restaurants.

The Prince Park Hotel doesn't just trade on its unique position, it's got plenty to recommend it. This is a wonderfully smart, stylish hotel. Take a look around, everything is just so pristine. The reception area is a great starting point into your holiday. It feels cool, calm and collected. It's stylishly set out with comfy chairs and gleaming floors.

The restaurant is another great example. It's a big space, but everything feels wonderfully well-run, so you can eat at your leisure and enjoy exploring those wide-ranging buffet menus over the course of your holiday.

Guests' rooms are wonderfully welcoming and bright. All rooms have en suite bathrooms, air conditioning / heating, as well as satellite TV, telephone, fridge, safe box and hairdryer with a terrace or balcony. (Guests are also treated to free Wi-Fi in the bar.)

Of course the swimming pool is the focal point of many Benidorm hotels, and the Prince Park Hotel weighs in with one of the best. With its own sun terrace and attached children's pool, it's a place for everyone to get together under the blue skies of Benidorm.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Staff very helpful

Review by annewC3049DL Albacete, Spain

I have just got back from this fantastic hotel. I could not fault anything about this splendid hotel. It is very clean, the staff go out of the way for you...

The food was very nice, and a lot of choices, and it was hot, not like some of the hotels where it is lukewarm. The entertainment was very good. I would like to say to SC2011start, remember you are in Spain, don't knock the entertainment being suited more to the Spanish, they live in Spain. Just a short walk at the side of the park, and it takes you to all the shops and bars. Thank you Prince Park Hotel for a fantastic stay.

1st visit to Benidorm

Review by Jenny S Bury St Edmunds, England, United Kingdom

This hotel is perfectly situated in Benidorm. It's about 10 min walk to the old town and then ideally situated between both beaches. Just go down Calle Primadonna and turn right , go over the bridge and you are in the old town.

The hotel rooms are basic but fine for a base. There was a fridge which should of had a charge but mine was open. The shower was amazing as was the huge bed. Downside no kettle so would suggest taking a travel one plus a mug and some cutlery.

The food in the hotel was plentiful a little bit samey but still adequate. If you go half board plus or full board plus you get a drink with your meals. If you have wine they will put your room number on it and keep it for another night.

The bar was lovely, didn't use the pool as too cold.

All staff lovely and the cleaners came in everyday to revamp my room.

There is a Mercado about 5 mins away so anything extra you need is available and their bread is amazing!

All in all a lovely hotel. Would definately stay again

Orientated to the Spanish visitor with eve entertainment that suits that clientele

Review by SC2011start Leeds, United Kingdom

Food was ok but not to the three Star standard I have experienced elsewhere. The hotel is near to a busy road (handy for buses ) but can be noisy if there's emergency vehicles passing. Rooms were lovely, very comfy beds, big flat screen TV with easy to use function to change the language on the TV...

Downstairs bar doesn't open till 10am so nowhere to chill out after breakfast. People tended to sit in reception, which did not have enough seating. Day time choice of music in the bar was for the bar staff and not the clientele and was quite frankly awful, if I wanted the Ibiza experience I would go there. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. At the end of the road (50m) there are buses to the new town 1.55 euro and to la cala finistrat which is a nice long walk back, approx 1 hour. 10 mins walk to the train station, with trains to Alicante and Denia. I would stay here again as it was a great price and gave us a two centre feeling, very Spanish in the hotel and 3 mins on the bus to the new town and British madness. 5/10 min walk to the beach Taxi back 6-8 euros from calle Gerona, same from the old town (for some strange reason) which is nearer. 2 supermarket 2 mins away.

Nice break

Review by LucindaH07 Alicante, Spain

We visited here for a short break. We stayed full board.

The location of the hotel is good, it is a short walk from both sides of Benidorm and there is a mercadona nearby too...

The room was lovely, we stayed in one of the end rooms and we had a sea view and also a view of the ampitheatre, which was great. The room was very clean, the shower was great and the bed was comfortable and big enough for us both. The TV was big, one of the biggest I have seen in hotels. The room was quiet but that maybe because it was on the end of the corridor.

The breakfast was nice - there were different options of hot food, a few cereals, fruit and pastries such as croissants, as well as tea, coffee, juice etc. The lunch and dinner were ok. I literally lived on cheese sandiwches all week as there was nothing I liked. They didn't have any vegetarian options except pasta (no sauce though) and on some nights mixed vegetables. When they did have other options such as rice or lasagne it all had meat in or wasn't labelled so I wasn't sure what it was! My partner isn't vegetarian and he didn't like much either. There were different choices each night though. There was always a choice of bread, cheese and cold meats, fruit and desserts. The desserts were lovely.

As we were full board we didn't have drinks included but they were a great price. The lady also told us if we had wine but didn't finish it, they put your room number on and saved it for the next meal, which I thought was a great idea.

The staff we encountered were all nice. Easy to check in, answered any questions, always said hello.

A small piece of advice - don't go in fiesta week if you want to sleep haha there were concerts on most nights right outside the hotel (not the hotel's fault obviously) although that did mean free parking outside on the street.

I would go back here again, even to just eat cheese sandwiches as it was a nice hotel and we paid a great price. The price was great and I can manage on the food for a short time.
