Costa Blanca

The RH Princesa Hotel in Benidorm is one of the best. Impeccable in every respect; it has been beautifully designed and built, and occupies an enviable position, right in the heart of Benidorm. You've got access to everything that this thriving holiday capital can give you. Just 600 metres away you'll see Levante beach. A short stroll away, all the shops, restaurants and bars of Benidorm are yours to explore. And, on top of all that, the Hotel RH Princesa gives you some of the best amenities in the Costa Blanca.

The Hotel RH Princesa is one the finest hotels in the Costa Blanca:

Just promise us you'll savour the experience of coming home to your hotel every evening! With its smart reception area, its impeccable parquet floors and its fabulous facilities, the RH Princesa Hotel is yours to fall in love with. Just look at those facilities! That outdoor swimming pool has to be one of the finest in the Costa Blanca. The indoor pool has been built to the very highest standards. The restaurant is light, airy and inviting.

Here at the RH Princesa Hotel, there's a wonderfully fresh, Mediterranean feel about the decor that makes staying here so pleasurable. The RH Princesa Hotel makes the most of natural light so that you always feel close to the outside. Twin rooms all have balconies too so that you can get out and really make the most of those views and let the light in. The parquet floors maintain that sunny, Mediterranean feel and rooms are designed for comfort. With en suite bathrooms, air conditioning and piped music, you can really lie back and relax. Rooms are also equipped with satellite TV, telephone and hairdryer.

Something else the Princesa Hotel does very well is keep its guests entertained. With day and night entertainment programmes running throughout the year; musical programmes too, there's always something to help make staying in feel like the new going out.

There's a TV room too, as well as a lounge bar with free Wi-Fi, and even a babysitting service. We also recommend the wonderful Jacuzzi – and you really must try the hydro massage…or for some serious relaxation book yourself into the Spa and wellness centre for a few hours (at a fee).

The RH Princesa Hotel is one of those rare and special things – a hotel that looks as good as it sounds, and vice versa.

Please note that single rooms do not have a balcony.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Amazing family holiday

Review by debbyglasgow Glasgow, United Kingdom

We stayed at the princesa for 10 days from 16th June. Thankfully as the school holidays hadnt started yet we have the luxury of it being a little quieter but busy enough too. Check in was smooth and quick...

We were on the 6th floor with view of the pool which was lovely. The only grumble we would say is that we went all inclusive (perhaps we were a bit naive as to what they included) however during the holiday we had a running joke of ‘thats no included in a/l’ when it comes to drinks or ice lollies etc. Breakfast gave lots of good choices however we did on certain days struggle to find things that we like to eat at lunch and dinner (and my partner can usually eat anything) so we found that we spent more money going out for dinner. The pool doesnt open until 10am, which means that no one can put their towels down early which was good as you dont have any 6am creepers, however I would suggest you standing at the gate for around 9.45am as it can become a bit of a mad dash. The entertainment at night was really good and had a good variety, however the main highlight for our 7 year old was Luca (kids entertainment), Luca is fantastic at his job, he makes every single child feel like the most important person in the world, he remembers all the small details and honestly made our son’s holiday, we couldnt have asked for more, we think he is great. The children’s entertainment is really good, they have lots of games to play and the arcade room and outdoor play area is fantastic. If you venture out for food, we would highly recommend La Meow (just outside the hotel) they do lovely cocktails and we had slider burgers and nachos which were so tasty, Miguel who works there is lovely and is studying art, he drew a characture of our son while he was eating and it was fantastic! Indian Gate is another fantastic restaurant, they do a great 3 course meal with a bottle of wine, we went back a few nights as the food was so tasty. The local shop on the same side as the hotel is ran by a lovely Scottish couple who were very helpful too. Our 7 year old is already counting down the days until he can go back next year!

Been here 3 times and we are coming back

Review by Abbafan1972 Birmingham, United Kingdom

I love this hotel! Check in was very smooth and the reception staff couldn't be more helpful. You can request a kettle for the room and they provide this with mugs and a selection of tea and coffee, but we always bring our own.

For context we stayed room 1110.

The food in the restaurant is good, not everyone is going to like everything, but there is a good choice. The ice cream machine is to die for! The staff in the restaurant are very helpful and bring your drinks over quickly...

Carlos in the restaurant is particularly helpful, friendly and is always there for a chat and a laugh. The only criticism I would have about the restaurant, you can only get a hot drink with breakfast and not with lunch or dinner.

The room was always very clean and the Wifi was great, even though we were 11 floors up. We did have a job getting the air con to work, we did report it, but it was hit and miss as to whether it would come on. An instruction sheet would have been helpful, as I don't know if we were doing it right.

The bar is nice, but you do sometimes have to wait a bit to get served and there's not a queuing system really, so people do push in. A few of the bar staff will serve you at your table if that's what you prefer. A special mention for Jorge who is very friendly and helpful.

The pool and terrace area is nice and there are always sunbeds available - the pool area opens at 10am and you are not allowed to reserve sunbeds with towels (they will get removed). It would be nice though to have a bit more music in the bar area and terrace in the daytime when there's no entertainment on.

On the subject of the entertainment, there is something for everyone. I wouldn't say it was brilliant, but you can always go and sit outside if you don't like the entertainment. Children seem to be catered for and they have dedicated staff to do this.

The hotel is situated in between the old and new town up a side street, which is a slight incline, but there is always someone around to help with luggage if you need it. The coach will normally drop you off and pick you up outside the Poseidon Palace.

Overall we would recommend this hotel.

The bar staff, particularly Alvaro and Jorge, were fantastic and kept us laughing all week. The cocktails were fantastic. I'd definitely come back again.
