Entry Requirements for Spain

Vaccination Status

Spain allows visitors who are fully vaccinated. In order to be fully vaccinated your last dose must be administered at least 14 days prior to arrival in Spain.

Additionally your final dose must have been administered within 270 days prior to travel to Spain, if this is not the case then you must be able to show proof of having received a booster jab.

Spain will accept the UK’s COVID vaccine certificate (both digital and letter versions) as proof of vaccination. Digital versions must include a 2D barcode (QR code).

Any paper version must be dated from 1 November 2021.

Children under 12 are exempt from any testing requirements, children 12-17 can still travel provided they show a negative PCR test result.

If you are 18 or older and not fully vaccinated you will be unable to enter Spain.

An NHS COVID Pass provides evidence of your vaccination status.


Fully vaccinated adults and unvaccinated children 11 and under are not required to take a COVID tests prior to their arrival in Spain. No further testing on arrival testing is required.

Children 12-17 who are not fully vaccinated may visit Spain but must take a PCR test within 72 hours prior to arrival and show a negative result. No further testing on arrival testing is required.

This should be completed online before departure

The Flight Pass should be available to be presented to airline and health officials on departure or on arrival in Spain.
